ABSTRACT

There has been a growing interest in exploring how to improve the efficiency of knowledge management by stimulating knowledge sharing among members in the organization. As the application of web2.0, the blog has the potential of knowledge management and is becoming a more and more important tool for enterprise knowledge management in recent years. In this paper, we compare the blog with previous network communication ways - E-mail, BBS and ICQ both on the concept and functional characteristics. On this basis, we analyze the obstacles of enterprise conventional tacit knowledge sharing and the role of blog in it. Finally we focus on discussing the specific strategies of tacit knowledge sharing based on blogs. These strategies are about the process, communication platform, incentive mechanism and cultural atmosphere of enterprise tacit knowledge sharing. In a whole, this paper gives insights of critical issues in enterprise knowledge sharing mechanism construction.
