ABSTRACT
Eric Rogers’ recipe was deceptively simple: do, philosophize, understand. Much fun has been poked at the legendary Chinese proverb, ‘...do and understand’, yet Eric Rogers believed passionately in the need for handson practical experience. The Nuffield O-level physics project injected into schools a whole new range of apparatus, much of it innovative. This apparatus owed a great deal to ideas drawn from Eric Rogers.
