ABSTRACT

Far infrared magneto-absorption studies have been performed on MBE-grown Te-doped GaSb films. At sample temperatures above 50K, free electron cyclotron resonance is observed with an effective mass of (0.040±0.001)me. At lower temperatures, an electron-related bound state absorption line is observed. The energy variation of this transition agrees with theoretical predictions for the 1s to 2p(m=+l) transition.
