ABSTRACT

In this paper the photoluminescence (PL), photoreflectance (PR) modulation spectroscopy and photocurrent (PC) spectroscopy were used to study the interband transitions of GaAs/AlGaAs Fibonacci quasi-periodic superlattice of order 11, and three groups of interband transitions were observed in experiments. The transfer-matrix method was used to calculate the sublevels and subbands of the Fibonacci quasi-periodic superlattice and corresponding periodic superlattice. The sublevels of Fibonacci quasi-periodic superlattice can be divided into several groups, every one of which corresponds to its relevant subband of the corresponding periodic superlattice. The theoretical calculation is in good agreement with the experimental results.
