Correlation effects on the single electron tunneling through a quantum dot in magnetic fields

We calculate the spectral weight matrix for quantum dot and find that electron tunneling is strongly spin-related due to electron correlation. We also study the magnetic field dependence of the chemical potential of quantum dot by employing Jastrow correlation factor in an analytic fashion. Our calculational results are in good agreement with the recent experiments.
