ABSTRACT
In order to reveal the behavior of the localized Wannier-Stark states, optical measurements as well as transport measurements are carried out in superlattices with various structures. Experimental results are well interpreted by calculated results based on the realistic tight-binding method. Evidence of the Wannier-Stark oscillation in the Zener tunneling current, which has been recently predicted, is shown.
