ABSTRACT
The phonon spectrum of GaAs/AlAs superlattices in Alas frequency region is studied by Raman spectroscopy We observed the peaks of confined AlAs LO phonons with mode index 1-5. Experimental frequencies confirm the results of microscopic calculation of bulk AlAs LO phonon dispersion.
