Effective heating of a plasma by producing on a very thin membrane

For efficient high temperature plasma production, very thin membrane target was employed to cut the thermal conduction loss of the energy into inside of the target. The spectra from H-like and He-like Si ions of the plasmas from membrane and massive slab targets show that higher electron temperature is achieved when a thin membranes is used as a target.
