ABSTRACT
Different HgBrxI2-x (x=0, 1.16, 2) single crystals were studied using electrical AC fields in the 1 KHz-10 MHz frequency range and optical measurements in the infrared region. From the electrical measurements, the real and imaginary parts of the AC electrical conductivity as well as the dielectric constant ε were obtained. From the optical measurements, the transmittance T was determined.
