ABSTRACT

Variable range hopping conduction of Mott type between 28 and 70 K and of Efros Shklovskii type between 6 and 15 K are observed in p-CuInSe2 single crystals. It is also established that the energy band gap Eg estimated from the optical absorption data using the expression obtained from Elliot’s model is in good agreement with that calculated from the free-exciton emission energy of the photoluminescence spectra.
