ABSTRACT

AgGaS2 epitaxial layers grown by multisource evaporation exhibit a noticeable emission in the exciton region. According to analysis of reflectance spectra, the emission is identified as a free exciton emission. Appearance of resonant Raman scattering lines at low temperatures under 442 nm excitation is interpretable to be due to shorter lifetime of excitons comparing to their thermal relaxation time.
