ABSTRACT
A large sized CuAlSe2 single crystal has been grown by traveling heater method using In solvent and BN crucible for the first time. The crystal is found to inlude about 1 % of In as a form of mixed alloy of CuAl1-xInxSe2 where x is about 0.04. Problems left to be solved are adhesion between crystal and BN crucible and control of growth direction.
