ABSTRACT

The phase diagrams in the CuIn(SxSe1-x)2-In pseudobinary system have been investigated. The conditions under which In solutions are single-phase liquids and chalcopyrite crystals can be grown from the solutions were determined. The relation between mole fraction x in the solution-grown CuIn(SxSe1-x)2 crystals and y of the CuIn(SySe1-y)2 solutes was determined for the 60 mol% In solutions. Photoluminescence at 77K has been studied for the CuIn(SxSe1-x)2 crystals grown from In solutions.
