ABSTRACT

Single crystals of the new II-V2 diluted magnetic semiconductor Zn1-xMnxAs2 were grown with a modified Bridgman method. In magnetic fields of B ∼ 2 - 200 Oe irreversibility of the magnetic susceptibility is observed below T ∼300 K while for B ∼ 1 - 7 T the magnetization is a strongly nonlinear function of B even at 300 K. These properties are analyzed using the model of clusters of polarization.
