ABSTRACT

The effects of simultaneous presence of two different magnetic ions in quatemery Cd1-x-yMnxFeyTe semimagnetic semiconductor have been studied. For this crystal the structure of optical absorption spectrum due to the intracentre transitions in Fe2+ ions has been found. The observed dependence of the Faraday rotation on photon energy, temperature and magnetic field intensity served as evidence of s, p-d and d-d exchange interaction within both electronic and magnetic subsystems.
