ABSTRACT

(CuInSe2)x·(2ZnSe)1-x solid solutions were synthesized by one-temperature method. It was established by X-ray investigations that the solid solutions with 0.6≤ x ≤1.0 are crystallized in chalcopyrite structure and with x<0.6 in sphalerite one. State diagram of the CuInSe2-2ZnSe system was built by means of X-ray analysis (XRA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) methods. It was shown that it has a form typical for systems with polymorphic transformation in solid state and small crystallization interval. The density and microhardness of (CuInSe2)x·(2ZnSe)1-x solid solutions were measured. It was established that the density as well as the cell parameters change linearly with composition x and microhardness has a maximum.
