ABSTRACT

Increasingly, social work educators have become aware of the impact of information technology. Electronic mail, for instance, is utilized widely in schools of social work by students, faculty, and staff. In addition, students arc increasingly accessing electronic resources such as the Internet or online library resources for use in their class assignments. There are many applications of such technology in the field of social work, including practice, advocacy, networking, communication, participation in policy formation, and teaching. This paper will describe how the integration of information technology can be used in a course on human diversity.
