ABSTRACT

In this paper, we claim that too much Weh-based instruction assumes that the World Wide Web is a vast library that can be used to convey knowledge, that searching and finding information on the Web equals learning, and that hyperlinking is good instruction. Based on constructivist assumptions, we critique these assumptions and offer instructional methods to counteract their effects.
