ABSTRACT
In recent years much attention has been polarized by the generalized derivative of Clarke [1], A convenient and insightful approach to this concept (as proposed by Hiriart-Urruty [3] and Rockafellar [5]) is via certain approximating cones to the epigraphs of considered functions. These cones are the following lower limits of the homothety relation (see [2]).
