Stress, Immunity, and Aging, has provided a unique forum for scientists from different dieiplines to discuss the interrelationships among these three issues. That there are interrelationships we all agree; however, we are not so sure of their significance. As to their clinical relevance for the practice of medicine, I think you would find little support at the present time. Be this as it may, I have the unenviable task of discussing the prospects for immune restoration of immunodeficiency resulting from aging or stress. Before I embark on this fanciful task, I would like briefly to summarize what I consider the current situation to be.
