ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus is a common disease. Diabetes is usually diagnosed by means of a glucose tolerance test. In this paper we apply the differential equation model of Ackerman et al to the detection of mild diabetes[1], give a test for one hundred and thirty hospital cases of First Hospital of Shandong Province, Subordinate Hospital of Shandong Medical University, and Central Hospital of Jinan, and make analysis and comparison. Finally, we improve the mathematical model.
