ABSTRACT

The stabilization of delay differential systems has been the subject of major research activities during the last two decades. To the best of the author’s knowlege, the existing stabilization policies mainly deal with the systems with bounded delays (Xu, 1994). However, a large class of mathematical models from electrical engineering (Schwyn and Bickart, 1972) and biological sciences (Cushing, 1977) can be represented by a system with infinite delays. Hence, in this paper it is intented to derive sufficient conditions for the stabilizability of a class of linear time-varying systems with infinite delay.
