ABSTRACT

In this paper, we formulated an atmospherical diffusion model( 1 ), based on the gradient theory with variable coefficient. It could be used for different conditions of environment and a different dimension scale of the assessment area. And we obtained an algorithm( 4 ) for solving turbulent diffusion problem. Using this algorithm you can solve all problems of atmospherical turbulence diffusion. People can easily use this model and algorithm for any complex area e.g. a mountain area or some mixture area, because in this model we take a piecewise surface to approach the ground surface assessment area. More than one century has passed since the famous atmospheric diffusion theory, based on the gradient theory with constant coefficient( 2 ) was made by Fick, the German scientist. In this period, several models such as well known Gaussian diffusion models were obtained and many researchers have used them even until now for atmospherical diffusion assessment, because the models, algorithms are very easy to use. (1)–(3),(6) There are very large errors which arise when the mathematics models are formed especially when using simple constant coefficient instead of very complex coefficient. We have devoloped an algorithm, which is numerical algorithm and concerned with the solution of atmospherical material diffusion utilizing morden large-scale high-speed computer. The numerical model and algorithm give satisfactory results. We believe that many researchers are becoming more and more interested in numerical models and algorithms for assessment of atmospherical material diffusion.
