ABSTRACT
The nominal 1 ns pulsed CO2 laser system at AWRE consists at present of a series of longitudinal channel plate TEA modules followed by a fast electron-beam initiated module, REBEL. Each module is 1 m long and has an active cross section of approximately 6×5 cm2.
