ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to present the role of comparison methods in the theory of dynamical systems, particularly in the area of control theory. While many well known results fall within the area of such comparison methods, it is by thinking about comparison methods in a more general way, that it becomes evident that these methods play a very important role and hold the key for the solution of many problems.
