ABSTRACT
In the last few years, the general area of topology “parameterized over the space Z” or of topology “with control” has undergone an extensive development, particularly, in papers by Chapman [8], Quinn [12,13], and Pedersen [9,10], among others. On examining these papers, one discovers that there are actually two different and distinct approaches to the general area-- the work of Chapman and Quinn focuses on topology “with ε-control;” while that of Pedersen is concerned with “bounded topology” (usually over Rk).
