ABSTRACT
A Riccati transformation is used, first to obtain a fundamental solution for the Airy equation f″(z) = zf(z) on the region −π/3 ≤ ph(z) ≤ π/3, and then to obtain convenient representations for lateral connection matrices for the study of the equation in other regions of the complex plane.
