ABSTRACT
The terrorists are looking for safe and uncomplicated targets. This is an important principle of operations for them. Most resistance movements are careful to choose targets that will best serve their goals. Many of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) men who penetrated Israel by ground, sea or air did not come out alive. But their original plan of operation always included safe withdrawal or surrender to our forces. This stereotypic line of operation makes the Japanese Red Army attack at the Ben Gurion Terminal so flagrantly different. Palestinian terrorism is a rich man’s terrorism. It is a “spoiled” terrorist’s organization. During a period of 15 months in 1966–67 Palestinian terrorists participated in fifty different military schools and courses, some forty in the Soviet Union itself and the rest in Red China, North Korea and East Germany. Compared to any other terrorist organization, the P.L.O. do it the easy way. They were born with a silver spoon in their mouths.
