ABSTRACT

The Internet is a technology that is opening vast new doors to public librarians and patrons. Enhanced service to job hunters is one of these new doors. There are many resources on the Internet of potential use to job seekers as well as sophisticated tools for finding these resources. Offering access to job searching on the Internet will require a great deal of equipment, planning, preparation and expertise. This paper will examine the possibilities and practicalities for the public library. [Article copies available from The Haworth Document Delivery Service: 1-800-342-9678.
