ABSTRACT
This case study focused on body postures for obtaining samples of chemicals for quality assurance testing. The study was conducted at a large midwestern chemical manufacturing plant. The plant employed 4,500 individuals and manufactured 75 products. Many of the chemicals used in the manufacturing process at this facility could be classified as: carcinogenic, cytotoxic, mutagenic, teratogenic, corrosive, reactive, irritant, or toxic.
