ABSTRACT
This case study is based on a midwestern electronics manufacturing plant which employed approximately 2,100 people. Push, pull and lifting problems were identified in two locations of the plant: the electronics assembly area and the television packaging area. Injury frequency and severity rates were determined to be unacceptable by the safety staff.
