ABSTRACT
In this paper a new type of silicon resonant gyroscope is presented that is simple to both manufacture and operate. The structure of the gyroscope is described, and its method of operation explained. Details on the fabrication process developed to make the test samples are given, and the structure has demonstrated a rate of turn measurement capability.
