ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the problems of translating scientific theories on dyslexia into applied treatment. The importance of a thorough diagnostic examination and a clear procedure in selecting treatment methods is indicated. Next, a study is described in which neuropsychological treatment of dyslexic children is applied in an out-patient setting. Preliminary results of an intervention and follow-up are presented.
