ABSTRACT

The Dafulo, Huile and Kangma black shale - hosted stratabound and stockwork type cassiterite-sulfide deposits occur in the eastern part of the Dachang ore district. Fluid inclusion data indicate that cassiterite-sulfide ores of the main sulfide stage (Stage II) originated under temperatures up to 390°C at Dafulou and in a temperature range of 230 to 360°C at Huile and 260 to 370°C at Kangma from aqueous - carbonic fluid (CO2/CH4 = approx. 10). The data are consistent with that of distal skarns obtained by Fu et al. (1993) from the central part of the district.
