ABSTRACT

Metamorphic reactions considered in terms of the aqua-complex concept have been proved to be responsible for extraction, mobilization and migration of metals. Extracted from basic rocks, Au and Fe are mobilized in the [2SiO3-OH2-(Au,Mn+)2(Fe,Mm+)0’4] (n =1,2; m≥3; O’-volatiles) aqua-complex. The metals migrate step by step via redistribution of chemical bonds in the mineral continuum. Quartz-gold-sulfide (pyrite) association stems from mineralized constituent parts of the (Au-Fe) aqua-complexes disintegrating under inversion of redox potential and decreased pressure-temperature in the mineral system. The approach reveals the genetic relationship between gold-ore deposits of various style.
