ABSTRACT
A new PGE-Au occurrence at Altan Uul-Tamgat discovered in South Gobi is related to ultramafic rocks from Lower Paleozoic ophiolites. PGE placers concentrated in Cretaceous conglomerates are genetically related to the PGE lode occurrence. PGE mineralization is represented by Os-Ir alloys.
