ABSTRACT

The detail researches on ore and gangue minerals from the Doyashiki Kuroko deposits, Hokuroku basin, Japan were performed. Their ore minerals are sphalerite, galena and tetrahedrite-tennantite in black ores and chalcopyrite and pyrite in yellow ores. Small amounts of marcasite, digenite, enargite and wittichenite occur. Covellite is recognized as secondary product. Barite, gypsum id anhydrite as gangue minerals are common. Ore minerals, their parageneses and chemical compositions were compared with those of other Kuroko deposits and submarine massive sulfide deposits.
