ABSTRACT

The distribution and composition of gold-silver mineralization in various ore facies of Alexandrinskoye deposit have been studied. In feeder stockwork zone native gold develops as streaks in the contacts between As-containing pyrite and galena. In “black” sphalerite-galena-barite ores on the wedging out of ore body, native gold and hessite associate with galena too. In sulphide chimneys native gold is confined to chalcopyrite-sphalerite encrustations. In clastic ores, subjected to seafloor alteration, the highest contents of gold are confined to roof, and silver – to bornite-containing ores in the base of ore clastic cyclites.
