ABSTRACT

The Myszków porphyry ore deposit (Poland) is connected with a minor granitoid intrusion of the Variscan age. The stockwork system of quartz or quartz-feldspar veinlets with molybdenite, scheelite and chalcopyrite is the principle ore-bearing element. The main stockwork orebody is connected with the endo-and exocontact zone of the granitoid massif. Using an original methods, the author finds that the stockwork overlaps a complicated system of magmogenic and tectonic fractures connected with uplift of the granitoid massif, contraction and cooling of the magma, forming of the superintrusive anticline and the regional arrangement of strains. All the factors could interact and modify each other thus the genesis of system has a mixed character.
