ABSTRACT

This paper deals with the evaluation of underground space utilization. For the evaluation, this study deals with “Eco-cost” which is defined as “Technical and Practical business cost to remove environmental loads”. This paper adopts CO2 and waste that is available to calculate a value as a factor of environmental loads as “Eco-cost”. As parking model type, “Car parking lot under road”, “Car parking lot under park” and “Multistory car parking lot” are arranged. It is reasonable to use underground space for parking lots when preservation of landscape and reservation of land space are realized by using underground space. And the way how to decide the type of parking lot is also given in a flow chart.
