ABSTRACT
Fifteen types of ossicles in the stomach wall of Ophiuroidea were observed by SEM. Ossicle analysis seems to be useful for the identification of species belonging to the genus Ophioderma. The present result supports to Devaney’s taxonomic system of the genus Ophiocoma.
