ABSTRACT
Studies on individual, naturally spawning Atlantic cod (Gadus Morhua L.) females were conducted in the laboratory to quantify effects of fish size and nutrional status on fecundity, egg size, egg mortality and egg buoyancy. In collaboration with other institutions, oocyte and egg development were also described using histological endocrinological techniques. This presentation will give an overview of some of the attained results.
