ABSTRACT
A summary is provided of scientific literature on Antarctic echinoderms for the period 1968–1993 on the following topics: fossil echinoderms, systematics, distribution patterns, aspects of reproductive biology that have a bearing on dispersal potential, and general ecology. Although much progress has been made on several fronts, our knowledge of the systematics and general ecology of major groups of Antarctic echinoderms remains fragmentary.
