ABSTRACT
We examined the analysis of phagocytosis of echinoderm phagocytes using method developed for the a nalysis of human leukocytes. Phagocytes existing in coelomic fluid of echinoderms formed blank spaces of bacterial thin–layer ( plaques ) showing the phagocytic activity.
