ABSTRACT
Recent restrictions force small hydropower to aim at high quality levels concerning economy, technic and ecology in order to proof further acceptance and continous exploitation. As said at the beginning the change of input data, operation conditions, public opinion, scientific knowledge or the economic frame requests periodical uprating. This procedure and instrument has been invented especially for industrial structures but will be applicable also for hydro power stations, the tool presented may be significant part al this adaption. Both the technical as well as the ecological subjects can be used as controlling system of the engineering process. This may support primarily the individual orderer of the project having less experience and specific knowledge. Sometimes the placing of financial support or even crediting requires a precise presentation of economic figures, production expected and other interesting facts. The evaluation form will make the analysis easy and shorten up the necessary procedure.
