ABSTRACT
This paper present the method for selecting the number of units for a small hydro power plant. A new technique is developed to calculate the annual energy generation by simulating flow duration. The method may be used to calculate the energy generated by more than one units or a single unit. The criterion for selecting the number of units have been discussed in detail.
