ABSTRACT
Recently the attention for visual appearance of wind turbines and wind farms in the landscape has increased. Visual aspects tend to be more and more restricting the realisation of onshore wind projects. As a lot of opportunities concerning the design of wind farms and wind turbines are unknown, E-Connection carried out two closely related research projects. The starting-point of the first project is the lay-out of a wind farm. Starting-point of the second project is the wind turbine design. In both cases the research is related to the landscape.
