ABSTRACT

In order to develop an accurate monitoring program, data on topics influencing the entrance of pesticides in water bodies must be known. Based on information concerning pesticide application and land use as well as on the local conditions (including hydrogeology, climate), a program can be worked out to measure the relevant pesticides at the right time and place. The more precise and direct the information is the more exact can be the measuring program. Starting with this data collection, a schedule for the whole procedure can be developed.
