ABSTRACT
The aim of that study is to present a new approach for parameter identification in soil mechanics. We’ll present at first the general approach of inverse analysis. Then we’ll develop the constitutive relation in the incremental nonlinear formalism and it will be shown and discussed why this new model with few parameters is specifically adapted to inverse analysis. Finally another “dual” model (in a given meaning) is presented and some of its features are exhibited.
