ABSTRACT

In this paper, an implicit integration scheme for the recent version of CJS model is presented. This scheme is applied to introduce CJS model in Code Aster, a finite element program of Electricité de Prance. Then, numerical exemples are computed to model homogeneous loading (realised on triaxial tests) and non homogeneous loading (pressiometer). Results are compared with those obtained by an explicit integration program. Numerical simulations also show that, compared to the explicit integration, the proposed method is very stable, thus large timestep can be used.
